The Vitallind has many unqiue characteristics which are valuable for anyone wanting to create a healthier sleeping environment and regenerative sleep. All of our mattresses have these features, like being antistatic, toxin-free, metal-free, anti-intolerance and having a washale cover. What is unique about the Vitallind, is that is maked these crucial features available at the most economical price, but it not a lower quality mattress. It just doesn’t have the stretch-effect feature.

Yes. All GEOVITAL mattresses are specifically designed to aid chronic pain management, including back pain, slipped discs, and sciatica. The stretch-effect technology combined with other unqiue features, empowers your body to align your spine naturally even more so, reducing strain and promoting healing.

Our clients don't mind waiting a little for the mattress made for them. Once your order is placed and qued with other orders, it typically takes 5 to 8 business days to make your mattress core, let the non-toxic adhesive dry over 3 days and sew your cover. Then it is ready for dispatch. Depending on where you are in the world, shipping from our facility in Austria (Europe) to you or to our local office if present, might take 1-3 weeks typically. In case of a local office, it will then be forwarded to you. All up, allow 3 to 6 weeks depending on where you are.

We offer several customisation options depending on the mattress model. The Therapie and Vitallind models come in different sizes, and you can select the firmness based on the sleepers body weight. The Kombi takes custimosation to an unprecedented level because we tailor the internals of the mattress to the sleeper's body shape.

We are also able to make 'odd shapes' for any of our mattresses, like tappered near the feet-end for inside the front of a boat or RV. This may, or may not, produce additional cost. Our team sort of like a challenge. Contact us and let's discuss your needs.

Physiologa recommended GEOVITAL mattresses are built for durability. That said, depending on how its treated or its environment someone would be able to distroy a mattress very quickly. The mattress industry says the lifespan of a mattress is 7 to 10 years, when just for hygene reasons, it is time to get a fresh one. Typically our clients report our mattresses provide 10 years of joy with proper care, upon which many clients re-purchase one of our mattresses. This says a lot about the mattress we think. After 10 years, the mattress may still feel fine, but it is really time to get a fresh mattress because we all sweat into our mattresses, and bacteria and skin cells go into the mattress. Because we don't use chemical propellents in our foams (for your health benefit) the internal foam may discolour somewhat, more so when exposed to more sunlight, but this doesn't detract from any of the mattress features and the hypoallergenic materials resist degradation, and the stretch-effect technology maintains its effectiveness over time.

The GEOVITAL mattresses are covered under a 10-year value reducing warranty. This means that for the first year the mattress is 100% covered against manufacturing faults. The second year, 90% of its value is covered, and in case of a warranty situation, the client would contribute just 10% of the value of the mattress. The third year 80% is covered and so on. This can be seen as a coulance or goodwill period.

If you have a large mattress like a double or queen size, which is made our one peice when it comes to the core, then the 'movement' of a partner is often a concern. While the bedframe will have a lot to do with it also, and one partner's moving may be gentle and other large... our clients have not reported that partner movement is a problem. Especially those who expressed that concern before puchasing, report back it is a 'non-issue'.

Up to a queen size mattress (Theravital and Vitallind only) the internal core will be able to be made out of one peice. Larger than the typical queen-size, we go to producing two internal cores (effectively two single XL mattresses next to each other). In Europe, people are used this and the couple actually receive two single mattresses which when pushed together make the 'King' or whatever size was ordered. They like it because you can fit sheets to each seperate mattress. Clearly there is a little area in the middle where the mattresses meet where there is less firmness.
For outside Europe, our clients tend to prefer to see/have one big mattress instead of two completely seperate mattressess. For those countries we supply by default a mattress which is still made with two internal cores, but instead of making 2 single covers, we make one big cover instead.

The question we sometimes get about this, is 'will we feel that inside there are two cores?'. The answer our clients give us after having experienced their new healthy mattress for a while, has so far been 'no'. Sleepers don't tend to feel there are two internal cores, because the edging is not hard like you might be used to from spring filled mattresses.

NOTE: The Kombi is not available in a Queen-size, but King is.

You'll be delighted to hear that for many years now we put a zipper in the cover that disattaches at the end. Meaning that you are able to just remove the top half of the mattress cover if you so wish, and wash it.

The mattress cover can be washes on a gentle cycle with a maximum temperature of 40 degrees celcius (or 104 Fahrenheit). Many clients prefer to put it the bath tub to wash it. Do use gentle detergents when possible and conside the intolerance reactions you may have to laundry detergents in general.

Yes we do and we're very proud of it and proud of you for considering this. Our children are arguably even more in need of a healthy sleeping environment, and so a baby mattress was a logical step for us. Made from the same foam and cover materials and build with firmer edging to the foam core, so that is tends to keep baby in the middle and provides needed firmness when they start to stand up and 'parade' along the edge of the crib. 🙂

The USA has, what many call 'very outdated and inappropriate' rules when it comes to the need for chemical fire retardands in mattresses to meet their fire retarancy requirements for mattresses. Many, if not all(?) chemical fire retardands are carcinogenic! Which of course will never be allowed in our mattresses as this would not aid the creation of healthy sleeping environment... quite the opposite you could argue.

Luckily, there is legal loop hole our health consious and proactive USA clients can use to still enjoy the safety of one of our mattresses: If we have on file a perscription from your doctor, chiropractor or osteapath, perscribing you a mattress without chemical fire retardants, then we can make you your mattress and ship it to you.

Getting this prescription has not been a problem for most clients of ours. Just ask you doctor, chiropractor or osteopath that "I'd like to buy a mattress without chemical fire retardands from this amazing company in Austria 🙂 could you please write me a prescription that says that you recommend/presribe a mattress without chemical fire retardance for me?".

It needs to be on their letterhead or identifiable as theirs, and you then need to mail that document/note to our facility in Austria. When you order your mattress, we will que it to be made. By the time your prescription arrives by snail mail, it would be about ready to be dispatched.
